Hello!

My name is Suzanne Martinez and I am thrilled to be joining the Mustangs!  This is my first year teaching and I am delighted to start my educational journey by serving the community of Natalia.  I will be teaching 5th grade English Language Arts & Reading and Social Studies.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart and am the adoptive mother of 15 children.  My youngest is 6 years old and my oldest is 34 years old.  I have 9 grandchildren.  I am a native to San Antonio.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station.  I have a BA in English.  I am currently completing my certification requirements for EC-6 through Region 20’s Teacher Orientation and Preparation Program.

A few of my favorite things are coffee, knitting, mysteries, and my backyard.  

I am excited about this year and look forward to getting to know my students and their families.
