Natalia ISD Winter 2023 Challenge: It's Cold-Ish Outside!

Challenge Overview:

The Natalia ISD GT Program is excited to invite the families of gifted students to participate in the Natalia ISD Winter 2023 Family Challenge. The theme is It's Cold-Ish Outside, considering the temperament of our Texas weather. This challenge enables our GT students to showcase their curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills through project-based learning. Students in grades 1-12  currently enrolled in the Gifted and Talented program can participate. The students are encouraged to choose one or both of the enrichment options and design a product of their choice. Please see the flyer linked below for detailed instructions.  Students are asked to submit a video of their finished product erica.barrientos@nataliaisd.net no later than February 28, 2023. How to Get Started

• Select an activity of interest.
• Register to join the challenge.
• Find all the materials needed to complete this project. Note: Finding ways to reuse recycled household items/materials can really spark your creativity. REPURPOSE is the key!
• Plan out your activity. Use the plan linked below to plan your activity.
• Record your finished product with a 2-3 minute video explaining your planning, the process, and anything you discover along the way. 
• Complete the Checklist linked below in order to make sure your project is complete. 
• Email your video to: erica.barrientos@nataliaisd.net by February 28, 2023.
• Student presentations will be uploaded onto the Natalia ISD YouTube channel.
