Statement from Superintendent

    Based on Governor Greg Abbott's Executive Order, Natalia ISD will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  We will continue Distance Learning and meal distribution as established until the end of the academic school year.  Additional graduation information will be forthcoming.

    Effective beginning tomorrow April 7th, 2020, we will be serving meals at the following three distribution sites: 

    • In front of the Natalia Jr. High School 
    • Natalia Transportation Department (Bus Barn)
    • Natalia Fire Department (previously Roy’s Beverage Barn)

     

    In addition, due to the fact that Natalia ISD will be closed in observance of Good Friday on Friday, April 10th, meals will be doubled up on Thursday, April 9th in order to cover for both days.

    Based on Governor Greg Abbott's Executive Order, Natalia ISD will extend school closures until May 4, 2020.

    Natalia Elementary will begin curbside deployment of devices for 2nd-5th grade students on Monday, March 30, 2020 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Curbside pickup will be in front of the Elementary Cafeteria on 8th street.

    As a result of the continuing developments related to the proactive restrictive measures declared by our local, state, and federal officials to minimize and contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in collective agreement with other public school districts in our surrounding area, Natalia ISD will extend its school closure until Friday, April 24th.
